The School of Ministry

Horizon University’s School of Ministry is designed for those pursuing full-time Christian ministry. We currently offer two degree programs with another three new degrees coming in the fall of 2013. We are theologically conservative and biblically rigorous. Our intent is to teach and train future ministry leaders for all aspects of full-time ministry, from biblical exegesis to ministry-related issues pastors and missionaries face today. Many of our graduates enroll in graduate work to pursue their master’s degree in theology or pastoral studies.

Classes in the School of Ministry can be taken in any combination of day, evening, and online, making all School of Ministry degree programs accessible for the working leader.

Career opportunities for graduates of the School of Ministry include:

  • Pastoral Ministry
  • Youth Ministry
  • Pastor of Christian Education (Children’s, Discipleship and Evangelism ministries)
  • Church Administration
  • Missionary
  • Christian School Educator or Instructor
